People search my net worth a lot, so I figured I'd answer it myself.

Here's the honest answer: I don't publish my net worth, and the numbers you see on net worth sites are guesses. What I have said publicly is that YouTube has made me over $10 million over the years. That's money my YouTube businesses brought in. It isn't the same thing as net worth, and I'll explain why.

How net worth sites come up with a number: public view counts, times a guessed rate per 1,000 views, equals a number that looks exact. It's stamped "not net worth," because they can't see business costs, team and contractors, taxes, software and course income, sponsors and affiliate deals, or savings and debts.
Net worth sites only see the views. Not the costs, not the taxes, not the rest.

What I've actually said about money

On my story page and in my videos, I've said I've made over $10 million from YouTube. For example, I said it in this video from April 2026 and again in this one from July 2026.

A few things about that number:

  • It's revenue, built up over about ten years, across my channels and the businesses connected to them. It's not what's sitting in my bank account.
  • It's before costs. My team, editors, software, ads and a lot of other stuff come out of it. Then taxes.
  • It's not typical. I started at 14, I've been at this since 2014, and I've had a team for years. Please don't read my numbers as what you'll make. Most people who start a channel make little or nothing.

My actual net worth stays private, same as yours would.

Why net worth sites are guessing

Most of those sites use a simple formula. They take the public view counts on a channel and multiply them by a guessed rate per 1,000 views. That's pretty much it.

The problem is that they can't see most of what matters:

  • They don't know the real rate. It changes a lot by niche, country, time of year and even by video.
  • They only see the channel they're looking at. Not every channel or business behind it.
  • They can't see other income, like software, courses, sponsors and affiliate deals.
  • They can't see costs, like a team, tools, ads and taxes.
  • They can't see savings, investments or debts, which is what net worth actually is.

That's why one site says one number and another site says something totally different. They're all guessing.

How my business actually works

Here's where money comes from in my world:

  1. YouTube ads on my videos. Honestly, I treat ad money as a bonus, not the main business.
  2. My software companies: TubeMagic and VidAI.
  3. My program, Tube Accelerator.
  4. Sponsors, which are labelled in my videos.
  5. Affiliate links, which my video descriptions call out.

The biggest lesson I learned is that views alone don't build a business. A video that sends the right viewer to the right offer can matter more than a video with way more views. That's the whole idea behind "monetize first," which is what I teach in Tube Accelerator.

Quick facts about me

  • Started on YouTube: 2014, when I was 14
  • First channel that worked: a faceless one
  • Finished high school: 2018, and I skipped college to do YouTube
  • Main channel: Make Money Matt, close to a million subscribers
  • Companies: Above Par Training Technologies LLC, plus TubeMagic and VidAI
  • What I teach now: Tube Accelerator

All my old programs, from Tube Secrets to Shorts Mastery, are listed in every Matt Par course, explained.

A quick word on income claims

You'll see a lot of YouTubers flex numbers. I've shared mine too. But my results aren't typical, and nobody can promise you a result on YouTube, me included. If someone guarantees you'll make money, walk away. You can read my full earnings disclaimer.

If you're wondering whether I'm legit at all, that's fair. I answered it head-on in Is Matt Par legit?

Frequently asked questions

What is Matt Par's net worth?

I don't share it. Sites that list a number are guessing from public view counts. What I've said publicly is that YouTube has made me over $10 million over about ten years. That's revenue before costs and taxes, not net worth.

How much does Matt Par make from YouTube ads?

I don't share a breakdown. I treat ad money as a bonus, not the main business.

How old is Matt Par?

I started YouTube at 14, back in 2014, and finished high school in 2018. So I'm in my mid-twenties.

What companies does Matt Par own?

My business is Above Par Training Technologies LLC. I also run two software companies, TubeMagic and VidAI.

Can I make what Matt Par makes?

I can't promise that, and nobody honestly can. My results aren't typical. Most people who start a YouTube channel make little or nothing, and the ones who do well usually put in months or years of consistent work.
